OUR CONNECTIVITY ISSUES WITH OUR RESERVATION SITE HAVE BEEN RESOLVED, THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE.
Reservations are now open for January 1, 2024, through April 1, 2024.
(Reservations for April through June 2024 will open up in early January 2024)
- Coastal Gateway Campsites (8 full hook-up sites) - FULLY SELF-CONTAINED UNITS ONLY (installed and operable black & grey water hold tanks required. No tent/car camping)
- Nobi Point Campsites (6 dry camping sites) - FULLY SELF-CONTAINED UNITS ONLY (installed and operable black & grey water hold tanks required. No tent/car camping)
- Woodyard Campsites (13 dry camping sites) - FULLY SELF-CONTAINED UNITS ONLY (installed and operable black & grey water hold tanks required. No tent/car camping)
- Trailer Boat Campsites (must have a currently registered vessel during stay, dry camping sites 7 - 12 currently open)

All RV Camping is by online reservation only. Please DO NOT call the Harbor District office regarding availability or to make a reservation.

RV CAMPING INFORMATION
To secure a site, you must have a reservation prior to pulling into the camping spot. Reservation must be made using the reservation website as provided above. Please refer to the Camping Reservations menu for additional details and instructions. Please note that the spots closest to the restrooms [spaces 1 thru 12] in Coastal Gateway are for trailer boat camping only. Trailer boat camping is single-spaces, dry camping and the boat trailer must occupy the space along with RV. ALL CAMPING IS BY ONLINE RESERVATION ONLY.
Check-in Procedure:
- Make a reservation. Reservations must be made.
- Check-in Time:
- 2 pm for RV Camping locations: Coastal Gateway, Nobi Point and Woodyard
- Early check-ins are not permitted
- 5 pm for Trailer Boat Camping
- Early check-ins are not permitted
- If you are unable to check-in by 5 pm, you may email camphost@portsanluis.com Opens a New Window. regarding your late arrival and they will check you in the next morning.
- 2 pm for RV Camping locations: Coastal Gateway, Nobi Point and Woodyard
- You may not pull into an empty camping spot prior to making a reservation.
RECREATIONAL VEHICLES
There are 3 areas for recreational vehicle camping: FULLY SELF-CONTAINED UNITS ONLY (installed and operable black & grey water hold tanks required. No tent/car camping):
- Coastal Gateway RV Camping (8 hook-up sites)
- Woodyard turnout (13 dry camping sites)
- Nobi Point turnout (6 dry camping sites)
There is one (1) area for recreational vehicle camping with a California Currently Registered Vessel
- Trailer Boat Camping Opens a New Window. (dry camping) [spaces 1 thru 12] are for trailer boat parking/camping ONLY! - SITES 7 - 12 are currently open for camping reservations.
- Day Use is available until 4:30 pm for trailer boat parking.
- After 4:30 pm, a camping reservation is needed and the site requires that a California, currently-registered vessel must be present for the duration of stay.
- When making a reservation for this location, you MUST provide the CF number of the vessel associated with the reservation.

CAMPING FEES -
- $97 Per Night - Full Hook-up Sites at Coastal Gateway + $11 Non-Refundable Reservation Fee
- $75 Per Night - Dry Camping at Nobi Point & Woodyard + $11 non-Refundable Reservation Fee
- $75 Per Night - Trailer Boat Dry Camping at Coastal Gateway + $11 Non-Refundable Reservation Fee
- Discounts are not given. Our campsites are not affiliated with the California State Parks system.
REFUND POLICY
The cancellation policy will be adhered to, so please make your reservation with the understanding you will be charged the cancellation/modification fee for all cancellations/modifications, even if COVID-19 related.
- All Cancellations and/or Modifications will incur a $16 fee per transaction
- 72 HOURS PRIOR TO RESERVATION START DATE: 100%, minus $11 reservation fee and $16 Cancellation/Modification fee
- 48 HOURS PRIOR TO RESERVATION START DATE: 50%, minus $11 reservation fee and $16 Cancellation/Modification fee
- LESS THAN 48 HOURS PRIOR TO RESERVATION START DATE: no refunds
- Only two (2) reservation cancellations and/or modifications are allowed calendar year.
- Campers required to leave due to the violation of the Port San Luis Harbor District Camping Rules & Regulations, District Ordinances, and any other applicable County, State, or Federal law are not eligible for a refund.
RESERVATION CHANGES AND/OR MODIFICATIONS
- To make modifications to your reservation, first re-book your new reservation dates, as applicable, using the reservation website.
- Then email your cancellation request to: campingrefunds@portsanluis.com to cancel any unwanted dates.

- Only two (2) reservation cancellations and/or modifications are allowed calendar year.
RULES & REGULATIONS
- All Camping requires FULLY SELF-CONTAINED UNITS ONLY (installed and operable black & grey water hold tanks)
- NO Portable, cassette or composting toilets or other removable sewer systems/tanks allowed. If your RV, Camper, Camper Trailer, Camping Vans, etc., is not a fully self-contained unit with fixed/installed holding tanks, you will not be permitted to stay and a refund will not be issued.
- Tent/Car Camping is not permitted
- Campfires and wood or charcoal BBQ’s prohibited. Propane or gas BBQ’s and fire pits with active on/off controls are allowed.
- All pets must be kept on a leash or in a contained area
- Excessive noise prohibited. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, including generators
- 14 day maximum stay on any sites located on District property
- Campsites must be physically occupied a minimum of 1 hour out of every 24 hour period, subject to cancellation.

No Transfers/Resales/Third Party Vendors:
- Reservations are for personal use only. Any resale, transfer, use for profit activity, or gifting of reservations and/or camp sites is strictly prohibited and may be cause for immediate cancellation without notice, refund, or reimbursement. You may also be restricted from making new reservations in the future or open new accounts.
- When making multiple reservations for the same dates, each reservation needs to be in the camper's own name, phone number, email address, and RV information.
- No outside vendor delivery or set-ups of RV’s, Camping Trailers, BBQ’s, tables, chairs, etc., are allowed and is subject to citation.
